Meadowbrooke Gourds

Meadowbrooke  Gourds began when Ben Bear, a Central Pennsylvania farmer, brought two gourds home from New England. He found that the goose neck gourds were hard shelled and could be crafted into beautiful designs to be kept for a long time.

Starting in 1995 in Mechanicsburg, Pa., Meadowbrooke Farms began to refine the growing and drying of these gourds and making them into these wonderful pieces. The working "family" has now grown to over 20 as they efficiently grow, sort, wash and craft into 250 kinds of gourds.

Heights vary from gourd to gourd.
